Saudi Arabia LED relighting plan

Avento is the ideal tool to shorten the payback time of an LED lighting installation and to provide the best return on investment, all while being connected-ready for your future Smart City requirements.

As part of the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the objectives is to reduce energy consumption and the associated government expenditures. Current initiatives include Road & Street Lighting, Indoor Lighting, HVAC and Building insulation. A National ESCO Tarshid, fully owned and funded by the Public Investment Fund has been established to manage the different initiatives. Tarshid have initiated to replace the luminaires installed on :

- Road and Street for 2M lighting Points by 2021

- The Highways for 600K additional Luminaires in 2021.

In 2019 Schréder Gulf has been awarded to replace in total more than 200,000 luminaires in the Eastern and Western parts of Saudi (Dammam, Khobar, Dahran, and Jeddah).

The execution of this project was in partnership with Nesma, one of the largest approved ESCO contracting companies in Saudi Arabia. Schréder Gulf supplied the lighting fixtures and provided the lighting expertise, including design support and technical assistance to Nesma during the project execution.

Essential for social and economic development, lighting on roads and motorways must enable motorists to travel safely and securely to reduce the risks of accidents and ensure a fluid mobility.

Having pioneered road and motorway lighting for more than 100 years, our experience has led us to develop LED luminaires and smart control systems that enable you to:
